My Job (2)

Boss will be away until after Christmas.

Yesterday, she said she would like to confirm me earlier - to be counted in for this year's plans. But I appeared indifferent about it & she didn't seem happy. She wanted me to go tell HR that as I'm doing such a fantastic job & she's very pleased with me, she would cut short my probationary period. I told her that we should talk after she returns from Perth as once confirmed I'll need to give 2 months' notice as opposed to the present 2 weeks. She then said, "I'll just confirm you first lor. Even if you should decide to leave, I can quickly find someone in to replace you lor." Sigh! So what's new??!
