"So sorry. Please take care of yourself."
"I'm sorry, but it's better for you both, I think."
"Sorry to hear about Mac. Do you want another cat? I can give one to you."
"Sorry about your cat. Know how you love him."
"Oh dear, take it easy, ok?"
"Sorry to hear about Mac. Our cats share their stories about us on the other side. Mac will tell the cats over there how you have loved & cared for him during those many years. They are now playing happily."
"My condolences. Please take care."
"This is terrible! I'm sorry. I have pets of my own & they are like our children."
"Oh dear, your cat died? What happened?"
