At MRT stations..

These days, I notice that there are signs put up at the mrt tracks of those stations above grounds. The signs read:

"Value life. Act responsibly."

Does anyone ever wonder why we need to put up such signs at the mrt tracks? Talk about the obvious. But really do not understand why some people choose to end their life this way. It's such a horrendous way to go. Someone sent me an attachment a while back on pics showing one of such suicides. Don't know how on earth they managed to get hold of such photos! It was really revolting.. Lost my appetite instantly.. Sigh! So nowadays whenever I receive anything of that nature, I delete it immediately.
