An accident..

Was on my way home from work. While crossing the road after I alighted from the bus, I saw this girl lying on her chest on the kerb of the road, sobbing. She was lying right in front of this metal chain.. the ones that block vehicles from entering.. Guess she probably tried to cross it, tripped & fell on her front. She was in her jogging gear.

I approached her & to check what's happened & I noticed there was quite a bit of blood.. Sigh! Me so scared of blood, immediately my knees went all wobbly. Called the ambulance at 10.40pm. Passers-by started to stop, asking if help was needed. We managed to get her home phone number & informed her family members. A kind samaritan actually helped her to clean up after noticing that she can sit up. Sorry I was of no help cause really scared of the blood. Kept chasing the ambulance though.. Apparently, stupid ambulance driver ended up at the carpark at the back of the block when I distinctively told them we were along the main road, opposite the market!! IGNORAMUSES.

Her family members even arrived before the ambulance. Had to give the paramedics instructions to get to us! The ambulance finally arrived at 10.55pm. All in all, it took them 15 mins to get to us when they could have arrived in less than 10 mins (which they did but at the carpark)!

That poor girl was sobbing so hard & when her family arrived, it seems the father was trying to ascertain her injury by feeling her joints & she started wailing much much more.. We kind of gathered she probably dislocated her jaw as well as her elbow.

Once I saw everything was in place, I took leave. Many were still hanging around to watch.
