Get Real!

Watching Diana Ser's Get Real! on CNA now. This program is a "real" pleasure to watch, especially after my long "break" with CNA (sorry lah! have been watching cable programs). The issues Diana Ser touched on are very refreshing, current & "civically-inclined". Topics like "giving up your seat to the pregnants", "cleanliness in our public toilets", "inculcating the correct values to our younger generation, "on kiasuism", "mobile phone users in cinemas", etc etc.. Varied but appropriate. I think she's doing a great job & would like to commend her on her works & contributions to this "socially-awakening" program. She's picked out the right issues for discussion but ultimately, it's really up to her viewers to reflect & decide on whether or not they want to embrace a gracious society. From the way I see it, Singaporeans are far from getting there. Call me a wet-blanket.. whatever.. but I think this is a real tragic case! Sad but true :)
