A lonely old lady..

walao.. was calling my households & came across this single elderly lady (in her 70's) who was complaining that we kept calling her & she's already told us many many times that that person has given up the number long ago!! then she started "chatting" with me saying that all the calls that she receive are "treasures" cz she's so lonely & often long for the phone to ring.. but when she rushed to the phone, it's not meant for her, so the kind of disappointment she's faced with.. guess i was the only one who kinda responded to her "cry". haiz.. she jz went on & on for more than half an hour! guess i was switched to my "counselling-cum-listening-ear" mode again.. but even when i tried to stop her, she wasn't even listening to me.. & i didn't have the heart to jz hang up on her.. sigh :(

ok.. time for lunch break..
