A day of outing..

Elections Day is also a day of "outing" for many who used to be homebound. While on my way to the polling centre, I noticed many old folks in walking sticks, on wheelchairs, some being accompanied by their children or relatives, toddling their way to cast their "sacred" vote. I realised then that these people may not step out of their house on ordinary days but bcz it's compulsory for them to vote, unless they have a very good & valid reason not to, they need to bring themselves to the polling centres, regardless..
