Nat Geo's Secret Bible Week

This special "TV event" started it's debut on Apr 27 with "The Gospel of Judas". Subsequent episodes will be telecast from Apr 30 to May 4. Has very interesting titles e.g. "Rivals of Jesus", "Apocalypse", etc.. Already "kind of" missed the 1st episode. Wonder if I'll have the time to watch the rest.

The other interesting special feature will be "Unlocking Da Vinci's Code" which is a highly controversial topic to the Christian community. Have not had the time to read the book "The Da Vinci Code" but will try & find time to watch the movie which will be screened some time in May.

Project "Your Voice"

Started calling my households as of yesterday & horror of horrors they told me that someone has been calling them!! Some of them got a little confused. After probing, found that it was 老娘 who was doing it! She's calling them for the C-Panel recruitment. Mystery solved. Informed CCM on this. Seems there may be an "ethical" issue but likely she'll let it pass.. Checked with 老娘 & she said she's stopped recruiting as the respective dept is now rather short-staffed, so can't cope..

Happen to watch this program on the Hallmark channel & discovered that Kathleen Quinlan & Tony Danzer are in it! Wunderbar! I love to watch Kathleen Quinlan. She's the lead actress in Danielle Steel's movie "The Promise", remember? & Tony Danzer was the male housekeeper in "Who's the Boss", the TV sitcom. Think I'll be watching this program more often from now on :)

Haiz.. Was rudely awakened 15 mins ago by the mobile phone :(
Tenants Cammy & Ivy both tried calling me since 6.10am! Seems the water switch burst & the place is now flooded! I GOT OUT OF BED IN SHOCK! Changed up & wanted to rush over but realised that there's nothing much I could do.. Called them again to find out the situation. Was told that the nice Indian neighbour next door is now trying to help them to stop the water from flowing.. Haiz.. the woes of an unfortunate landlord!

Passed by Balestier Road just now on my way home & saw ARVC.
Was reminded of Mac..

During this CNY, I rushed down around midnight to ARVC on 1st day of CNY, desperately trying to get the tube for infusing fluid to him.. On 2nd day of CNY, brought him to ARVC for emergency treatment hoping that the vet can work out some miracle cure for him.. & he died the same night!

Very upset. I still miss him very much..

End of "Hibernation"

Ya.. Realised that after the distressing occurence - I'm referring to my unexpected, prolonged illness - it may all be a blessing in disguise afterall :)

Well, since my blog is "Count your blessings..", I really need to know how to count my blessings lor..

Well, I think my insomnia is kind of "cured" :) These days, I actually know how to "feel sleepy". Around 1-2am, I will be dozing off in front of the television, if I'm not online. Most of the credit goes to my sofa.. It's really comfortable so each time I watch TV on it, I tend to fall asleep. Great, isn't it?

Now I know my biological clock is almost back to normal, though it's not the norm for most people :) Will try to stay away from my laptop after midnight & "foreplay" on my beloved sofa.. Hehe.. don't get wrong ideas.. Dozing off first on the sofa will help to remind me that it's bedtime! Yawn.. Let's hope the normality will last.

sister's system's down too..

Aiya.. She confirm ill lah! Soooo manja.. But she still went to work this morning & refused to go see doctor. Haha.. No wonder we are sisters. So alike! Anyway, I offered to help her in the shop so went down in the afternoon to relieve her so that she can go home & rest. Good thing I'm feeling much better myself :)

Was at shop from 1.30-9.30pm. So bored cz no business :< Only made 70 cts worth of sales! Woahahahahaha.. Pathetic, right?!! Sigh! Wonder if I still need to avail myself tomorrow? Can do more things with my time leh :<

Got home around 11pm & she still looked sickly. Think she needs to go see doc liao lah.. Her cough is really bad. Like her lungs are all stuffed up. Poor woman. She's been a passive smoker all these years so likely will have a very contaminated pair of lungs one lor!

Quite lethargic..

Though I'm recovering from my cough, I find myself feeling very fatique overall. The brain's not functioning at all! Actually I need to resume on Project "My Voice" but just don't have the mood to pick up the phone :( Must really force myself to start on it again tomorrow.

Feel kind of guilty because I think both mummy & sister are now coughing!! Mum not as much but sister's cough is really bad. But she claims it's because she ate a mango :) Well, whatever lah.. Coughing is no joking matter lor. Trust me, I've been a victim.

Yes, she arrived yesterday morning.. to watch 黄舒俊's concert in the evening! So L-girl & I met up with her this afternoon for lunch at Crystal Jade (sigh, where else!) & then shopped for a little while before she rushed off to meet her other friends. She'll be leaving tonight but according to her, she may be coming again real soon :)

Though I'm feeling better, healthwise, today is nevertheless a very stressful day :( I shall go unwind now on my "bike".. Oh.. Amazing Race is on (repeat one lah).. Think I'll watch it first then go exercise. Oh, baby's sleeping on my bed again. She looks so comfortable cleaning herself, licking away.. Wonder how's Sal-T coping with the death of her bunny.

Haiz.. With all the stress that I have, I think all the c-cells in my body will definitely manifest like crazy one lor :(

Haha.. Saw a strange sight just now.. Saw my mummy sitting at her desk doing her homework! It's so cute because I've never seen her doing that before. Hahaha.. Seems that these days she has sunday bible class & after that they will be assigned "homework" for the week. Interesting, right? A 82 yrs old lady doing homework. Hmm..
