Watching 新上海滩 for the first time

Years ago when it was screened, I didn't have much interest watching this series cz I didn't really like to watch Gordon Lam and also didn't know who Sunny Chan was then :)

Yesterday, they showed this 1996 TVB version on cable TV and I happened to tune to the channel and, boy, was I pleasantly surprised! It was really a all-star cast lor! You really don't get such fantastic casting these days!

Let me count the stars. We have 郑少秋、郑裕玲、吕方、陈锦鸿、陈松伶、张可颐、曾志伟、罗家英、潘志文、林保怡、梁小冰、郭少芸、罗嘉良、谭耀文、张玉珊、etc, etc, etc.. Can you imagine? All these celebs are all very established in their own rights now :)

It's so funny to watch Eric Tseng and Bowie Lam in kelefe roles. So refreshing!

And I've grown to like to watch Sunny Chan more and more and more.. And I think the storyline is also not too bad lah.. Hehehe...
