3rd day..

Jz got home around 10 mins ago. Very tired cz I think I'm not having enough rest time. Plus the new job is really really hard on me eyes :(

Overslept again this morning so reached office at 11am. Brought in my tapes to office before that lah.. Lunched with Margaret again.. No mood to ask others lah.. Afterall, only 45 mins for lunch :( Soooo rush.. By around 2pm, started to feel sleepy again.. Managed to pull through all the way to 5pm.. Feel so "Garfield" all the way. BE says mz use toothpicks to keep my eyes open. Hehehe..

Ran errands for mummy then rushed to class.. 20 mins late cz missed one bus. Met classmate on bus.. Tonight this trainer had so much to cover that he made us stay till 11pm!!! Good grief, right? Already so tired the whole day & class lasted so late >:( Everyone was rushing off..

& I gotta miss my bus so instead of taking one direct bus home, I had to take THREE! That's why got home sooooo late.. Going to take my dinner liao.. Soooo hungry! F A T I Q U E !

2nd day..

Haha.. Overslept! So what else is new.. Jz couldn't wake up! Set alarm for 8.15am but didn't wake up till 9! Some more got constipation!! So informed BE that I'll go in half hr later lor.. Ha! Guess what? She says next time don't even need to tell her.. Woahahaha..

Lunched with Margaret. Started dozing again around 2pm. Getting used to the work but it's really very taxing to the eyes. Saw Jojo on 15th floor & she said L-girl came to office today but when told that I was upstairs, "refused" to visit me cz she said "I'm very depressing". Good, right?

Anywayz, informed BE that I need to leave slightly earlier cz need to get dinner for mummy. So left at 4pm. Bought food home, rested a while & left for class. Haha.. Tonight's another trainer. He dismissed us at 9.40pm. So different from last night's situation. Reached home at 10.30pm :)

Need to sleep..

Long day..

Slept around 4.30pm & got up around 9am. Reached office at 10am sharp :) Lunched with Jojo at chill-out room, Adele, her sis & KY included. 45-min lunch. Yes, now it's that "strict".. Haiz.. now non-exec mah.. Ya, now upstairs mah.. What to do?? Almost dozed off around 3pm. So tedious, boring & mundane.. Gotta flip here & flip there..

Some more that BE's so confusing.. Told her I want to work for jz 6 hrs.. so will leave at 4.45pm! Instead, she said my timing's odd & suggested that I work 6.75 hrs. More confusing for me.. Sigh! Whatever lah.. So eventually left office at 5.35pm!

Rushed to NTUC Centre as they close at 6pm! Need to submit my photo to them. Then had a quick bite before going for class. For once I was early! Hehe.. 1st class.. Not too bad.. But too many questions posed by the class, so instead of finishing at 10pm, trainer had to extend the class till around 10.45pm :( Reached home around 11.30pm. Haiz.. Another 4 days to go.. E X H A U S T E D !

The Paper Chase (1978)

One of the greatest & most under-rated television shows of all time. The TV Series is about a group of Law students, their daily lives & their effort to make it through Law School. The story line centres around the great actor, John Houseman as the law professor, Professor Charles W. Kingsfield, & James Stephens as his student, James T. Hart.
I know this series is relatively old but if you do get the chance, go get a copy of the DVD, if obtainable. You'll not regret it cz it's really a great series, well-worth watching.

Feel kind of excited over the starting of my 2-week temp job tomorrow. It should be a rather busy week cz hours are like 10am-5pm. After work, I'll be attending this night course from 7-10pm for a week.

Afternoon activities

Mummy has been recovering well.. She's been staying home & this Thurs I'll be bringing her back to hospital for review.

Jz done with lunch & now her 2 sisters are here to visit her. My sister is napping. Perhaps I should have mine too :)

Feeling "Piggy"..

Suddenly these two days, I feel very very "piggy"..

Jz feel like sleeping & sleeping (actually also kind of like Lan Lan), & jz want to "hide" myself in my room. Feeling extremely LAZY..

Seems to have some problems with my legs :( Having bad swollen joints, plus occasionally will experience cramps! Went for foot reflexology yesterday but still sense the "problem". Could be gout, could be water retention, or maybe even arthritis..

Sigh.. guess it's part & parcel of OLD AGE >:(

Hmmm.. Heard from Jojo that Lean has resigned & his last day will be end of month. Quite surprised but she said it's likely bcz the techs hv been very "pampered" all these years :)

Co-incidentally, Toh sms'd to tell me the same piece of news the same day. So strange. The last time it was the same scenario.. When something happens, it all happen on the same day.. Very strange indeed.

Jz watched American Idol. Think it's kind of "sealed" that Taylor will be the next AI. But this Katharine is jz as talented & even sweeter-looking than Taylor :) Think she's by far the prettiest female AI finalist. But jz can't imagine that Taylor is only 29! The way he dances is so haphazard & unique, yet entertaining & fun-to-watch..

..& already predicted on my May 14's posting that he will win this year. Hopefully there are no last-minute surprises!

Anywayzz, today very tired. Walked quite a great deal.. Now both feet are swollen.. From toes to above ankles.. Wahhhhhh..

Lunched with C-jiejie.. Appt with Adeline at 2pm.. Appt with PBG at 3pm.. Went to NTUC office to get replacement card.. Contacted Serina.. Visited KK & JC at their shop.. Went down to sister's shop.. Left at around 7.30pm.

So tired that I dozed off on the bus while on my way home..

Shall I sleep earlier tonight? Hmm.. Guess I should :)

Ron Howard

Ronald William Howard (born March 1, 1954 in Duncan, Oklahoma) - also known as Ronny Howard, Ronnie Howard, Ron Howard.
He's of Dutch, Scottish, English, Irish, German & Cherokee Indian descent. Ron's parents, Rance Howard & the late Jean F Speegle, were also actors.

I've watched him as far back as "The Andy Griffith" Show where he was called Opie Taylor, son of the local sheriff in the fictional town of Mayberry, North Carolina.

He is also well known for his role as Richie Cunningham in "Happy Days" where he played the likeable foil to Henry Winkler's Fonz. In 1977, while still starring on Happy Days, he directed his first film, a comedy action film called "Grand Theft Auto". After leaving Happy Days in 1980, he directed several TV movies. His big theatrical directing break came in 1982 when he directed "Night Shift". He has since directed a number of high-visibility films.

He attended the University of Southern California's School of Cinema-Television but did not graduate.

Haiz.. Supposed to start my 2-week trial today at 10am but she called at 9.25am to inform that there'll be a delay as they are all rushing for another project now! Walao.. So now it'll be postposed to next Monday instead.

Haiz.. Guess this week I'll just concentrate on clearing as many of my households as possible first, plus my other "assignments" :)

Yes, she's making life very difficult for me.. Just buying a packet of salt, with inaccurate instructions provided by her, I need to make 3 trips! And each time we stop her from taking overnight food that's turned bad, we get a scolding for being wasteful! And doing my recording one minute earlier didn't meet with her approval too.. I think I'll just die!
